We are currently recruiting for an Operations Manager to work in our prestigious company.

Main Duties  
As an Operations Manager for protective service associate professionals not elsewhere classified, applicant will oversee the daily operations and ensure the effective and efficient provision of security and protective services. This role involves managing staff, developing and implementing policies, and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.

Responsibilities – The Operations Manager will be responsible for:-

  • Recruit, onboard, train, and supervise a team of Door Supervisors, ensuring they possess the necessary skills and qualifications to perform their duties effectively.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide ongoing coaching and development for security personnel.
  • Foster a positive and professional work environment for the security team.
  • Ensure all security operations comply with Security Industry Authority (SIA) regulations and company policies.
  • Conduct regular audits and risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential security threats at client sites.
  • Develop and implement security protocols and procedures to maintain a safe and secure environment.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their specific security needs.
  • Liaise with clients to address any concerns and ensure their satisfaction with our services.
  • Oversee the delivery of security services as per contractual agreements.
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize security operations, ensuring effective resource allocation and scheduling.
  • Monitor and analyze security data to identify trends and implement improvements.
  • Prepare reports and documentation related to security operations, including incident reports, risk assessments, and training records.
  • Conduct site visits to assess the effectiveness and quality of security services.
  • Inspect security installations to ensure they meet safety and operational standards.
  • Identify areas for improvement and implement necessary changes.
  • Perform comprehensive risk assessments to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities.
  • Develop and implement risk management strategies to mitigate identified risks.
  • Ensure all staff are trained in risk awareness and response procedures.

Working Conditions:
- Primarily office-based with regular site visits.
- Includes warehouses, factories, or outdoor locations as needed.
- May require evening, weekend, and holiday work.
- Occasional travel for site visits and meetings.
- Extended periods of sitting at a computer.
- High stress due to tight deadlines, emergencies, and multitasking.
- Adherence to company health and safety policies.
- Ensure a safe working environment and compliance with regulations.
- Use of standard office equipment (computers, phones, printers).
- May require specialized software and technology for operations management.
